To keep the fabric from raveling, either sew the edges on a sewing machine or use one of the products sold to prevent fraying.
Typically, a group consists of half couples or friends and half individuals raveling alone.
To avoid raveling, try using pinking shears on your fabric instead of scissors.
Finishing will prevent raveling which can, in time, cause the seam to break apart.
