Long ago, before Gutenberg, if you wanted to know something, you had to memorize it.
It is important to memorize all the chemical formulae for the reaction we are looking at in today's lab.
Use words that are easy to understand, pronounce and memorize.
You would do well to memorize how to say thank you and please when asking for something at a restaurant.
A good idea is to either take a guide into the field when trying to identify snakes, or to memorize the details of a few species that are of interest before setting out.
