This famous picture is certainly biassed.
Belloc's Marie Antoinette (London, 1909) is very biassed and sometimes misleading.
He also kept up his activity as a publicist, in 1814 defending in a detailed and somewhat biassed pamphlet the policy of the minister Montgelas, and he undertook critical studies in the history of the Jesuits.
The History is defective in its lack of objectivity; Graetz's judgments are sometimes biassed, and in particular he lacks sympathy with mysticism.
However biassed, this a priori study had its merits.
